Talibra

The spiral turns, and we're looking for artists to help define the visual identity of Talibra: The Fractured Cadence. Your artwork could become the official chapter art for our paperback and hardback editions – and the visual foundation for our future animation projects.

Theme: Any scene, character, or symbol from Talibra (see the free novellas for inspiration). Grayscale only. Thick ink lines, high contrast, rough texture preferred – but we welcome your unique interpretation.

Deadline: October 9th, 2026

Prizes:

• 1st Place: $500 USD + your artwork featured in print editions + credit as "Contributing Artist" + your style referenced as the official animation look.

• 2nd Place: $250 USD + your artwork featured in print editions + credit.

• 3rd Place: $100 USD + credit.

• Honorable Mentions (3): $25 Fourthwall store credit + credit.

Submission Guidelines:

• File format: PNG or TIFF, 300 DPI, pure grayscale.

• Aspect ratio: 2:3 (vertical) or 1:1 (square).

• Include a short statement (max 200 words) explaining your piece and its connection to Talibra.

• Submit via the form below (upload link).

• One entry per person.

Judging Criteria:

• Adherence to Talibra's tone (dark Seinen, AfroFantasy, resonance aesthetics) – 30%

• Technical skill (linework, contrast, composition) – 30%

• Originality and emotional impact – 20%

• Feasibility for adaptation (animation style reference) – 20%

Judges: Michael Antonio (creator) + invited guest artists (to be announced).
