Request The Talibra Saga at Your Library

Want to see The Talibra Saga on your library’s digital shelves? You can help bring the full series to your local community. Each request shows your library there’s real demand for more Black urban and Afrofantasy titles.

There are 27 novellas slated for the full series. The books can only be bought directly from the writer at www.talibrasaga.com, but to be sure everyone can read them, we are releasing the series on select online library services via Draft2Digital’s library distribution.

Before You Request

  • Make sure your library doesn’t already have the title (check both ebook and print).

  • Have your library card number handy; some apps require you to log in to recommend a purchase.

  • If you don’t know which app your library uses, check their website or ask a librarian.

How to Request

1. OverDrive / Libby

  • Search for the title by Michael Antonio in the Libby app or your library’s OverDrive site.

  • If the title isn’t in their collection, scroll down on the record page and tap “Recommend to Library” or “Suggest a Purchase.”

  • Optional: Add a short note like “Please add more Black urban fantasy/afrofantasy titles.”

2. Hoopla

  • If your library uses Hoopla, search for the title in the Hoopla app.

  • If you don’t see it, add it to your Wishlist (if available).

  • For best results, email your library’s digital/media department with the title and Hoopla link, asking them to consider adding it.

3. cloudLibrary

  • Search for the title in the app.

  • If it’s not listed, tap “Request” or “Notify Me.”

  • If those options aren’t available, contact your library’s front desk or digital services team and ask them to add the title to cloudLibrary.

4. BorrowBox

  • If your library uses BorrowBox, search for the title in your library’s BorrowBox catalog.

  • If you can’t find it, message your local branch or digital media team and say you’d like them to license The Talibra Saga through BorrowBox.
